Hey Guys,

Just wanted to say hi to you all here in Germany...Jens Stormer was kind enough to invite me to this forum and hopefully we can exchange as much info as possible!

I´m in Hamburg until the 2nd of March...and am looking into purchasing some goodies for my Landie (VDO, seats...etc...)

Well, since a "thread is useless without any pics" here is my comp truck "Dino"

Thanks guys...
That poor "Disco-Submarine" is the one u see above in the picture!
It took us 1 month of a LOT of Tender Loving Care (TLC) to bring it back to life. All was done at home, even the electrics...it was the BEST opportunity to learn about it!

Hello Nadim,

just post a short list of what goodies you are after. We did not talk about the VDO stuff, but about the seats, and you said you want some not too expensive Sportseats. But was it for the Buggy or for Dino??

Yeah Jens, you´re right...

Well, since I was in Germany, I thought I´d purchase some locally produced products since they "should" be cheaper...

These are:
1. Hell Metador work light (x2)
2. Comfortable, cheap, waterproof bucket seats with 4 or 5 point belts
3. VDO Gauges (called the office here in Hamburg and will see them on Monday)
4. Bilstein shocks for my Daily Driver (1998 Disco)

Any help on where to get them CHEAPEST will be ideal. THX again

Jens, nothing for the Buggy yet...still have to finish Dino...

hey nadim,
very nice diso and a very nice twist u got on ist too...
for your shopping i could suggest santler in the rur district. unfortunatly i havent got the web address handy but im sure someone here can help me out. its a very good shop specialised on racing/ rally products.
